In the beginning of the newsletter I wrote about the lessons learnt and their importance to me. Then, as I was thinking about the topic for this article I thought this was a great opportunity to share those lessons with you. Perhaps they might be helpful. Perhaps they will be similar to yours. Perhaps they will help you to avoid mistakes I have made.
Lesson 1
Patience is a virtue and letting go is an art. I faced many setbacks this year and many times I wanted to stop my various activities, because I was not seeing instant results. But then I remembered the analogy of planting a seed and giving it time to grow and armed with that philosophy, I learnt to relax into the process of seeing things manifesting for me. This was a huge step, because letting go of stress and unrealistic expectations was a huge relief and the whole process of manifesting became much more enjoyable and fun.
Lesson 2
Be open to miracles occurring from unexpected sources. I am quite a rational person and I have always believed that when we do A, we will get B. We will not get C or D or E, because we directed our efforts towards getting a B. Well, this year I have learned that even if we think we want B and B does not happen, if we remain open and positive, at some point options C, D and E present themselves and bring us back to B but in a better, bigger, multiplied version! Sometimes, the timing is just not right. Other times, something better is waiting to happen. But if we remain in our “believing space”, we will get what we originally wanted. In other words, don´t curse the Universe if it doesn´t deliver right away. Allow it time to work its magic.
Lesson 3
Ongoing action is indeed the key. I love the quote from Mike Dooley I used for this newsletter. I think he is right in saying that people have no difficulties with dreaming big but keeping up with their actions is much more difficult for them. I am 100% behind him. I absolutely believe that even the tiniest action towards our goal on a DAILY basis is the safest route to success. I have been applying this rule throughout the whole year and it brought me numerous great achievements. It is my mission to get all of my clients to adopt this attitude, because I know it will bring them the results they are after.
Lesson 4
Go with what is right for you. This sounds like such a cliché but so many people still struggle with it (including myself on occasions!). I hear it from my clients way too often. It goes like this: I really WANT to do this (leave the job, the husband, the town) but my mother, sister, friend says no. I FEEL this is the right thing to do but they say I am crazy. What am I to do? Does it sound familiar? The answer is simple: go with what is right for you. This seems like the most difficult part but in fact, it is the easiest. You know what is best for you, respect yourself enough to honor and act on that knowledge.
